Why You're Not Getting Results from Learning
Stop skipping the process if you want real change.
I work in training. I'm certified in coaching. But I still get frustrated when I don't see results.
We think results come from reading more books, listening to more podcasts, collecting more ideas. But transformation never happens that way.
It happens through the process.
How many times have you started a book, gotten excited, and then skipped the reflection questions at the end of the chapter? You wanted the next insight, not the slow work of applying the first one.
So, you push ahead, skim a few more chapters, and eventually decide the book sounds like all the others. You close it. You move on. But you don’t get the result.
Information is never the problem. Application is.
Transformation happens when you submit to the process.
Do the work. Use reflection or journaling to help you. But most importantly, practice taking small steps so you can move forward.
What part of this resonates with your own reading habits?
